Horse Drawn Omnibus

Horse Drawn Omnibus For Sale

"Hold on to your hat!"

This twenty-six passenger double-decker horse-drawn omnibus is a reasonable facsimile of those used for public transport in London England from approximately 1882 until 1914...

With the original coachmaker's dimensions as a guide, it was professionally built in 2008 and designed for heavy commercial use. Lighter and stronger than the original, the design has been modified to allow passenger access from the right side of the road.

Sorry, the double-decker horse-drawn omnibus has been sold, but check this site from time to time for some historical anecdotes and recent updates about Victoria's colourful--and sometimes disputatious--horsedrawn carriage trade...
