Actually, you can be the judge of that, but my main hope is that I entertain you as much as I entertain myself. The pieces that appear here from time to time range from egghead research papers and monographs to personal essays, poetry, short fiction, and excerpts from letters and longer works. Love it or hate it, but please don't reproduce it without my permission (which is fairly easy to obtain). That's my alter ego in my hand, by the way. Cute little feller, ain't he?
